March 11, 2003 - Devrace Software Company publishes Devrace™ FIBPlus™ 4.8.1, a fast, flexible and high-performance component library for Borland® Delphi™, Borland® C++ Builder and Borland® Kylix, which is intended for work with all Borland® InterBase® and Firebird versions. This version fixes some problems in the previous FIBPlus version.

Devrace FIBPlus 4.8.1 bug fixes:

  1. The error "no databases are listed in transaction component" appeared on opening the form has been fixed.
  2. The error of addressing to the blob-parameter as to the string one has been fixed.
  3. The error "conversion error from string" with use of parameters of the Variant type has been fixed.
  4. The error of work of RecordCount on joint when using psAskRecordCount and deleting records has been fixed.
  5. The error of insert of new records has been fixed.
  6. The error of the parameter order set in macroses has been fixed.
  7. The error of alignment of TDBGrid columns by centre has been fixed.
  8. The error appeared on editing a cloned Dataset has been fixed.
  9. The error in CloneCurRecord, appeared on cloning the last record has been fixed.
  10. The error which prevented the buffer from clearing at the place of the deleted record has been fixed.
  11. The error of work with blob-parameters has been fixed.
  12. pFIBQuery returned 0 instead of null when the result set was empty. Now this error has been fixed.
  13. The error in the FullRefresh method has been fixed.
