Devrace Publishes Athlant 2.01

September 22, 2002 - Devrace Software Company publishes a new Athlant™ version, a flexible, universal expert for Borland® Delphi™ and Borland® C++ Builder, which integrates a lot of famous source control systems into IDE. Now Athlant is being distributing in two editions: Personal and Professional, includes build-in visual text comparing tool and supports Delphi 7.

Devrace Athlant 2.01 new features and benefits:

• The meshanism of integration of Athlant with IDE has been updated. Now Athlant is integrated in main IDE menu, main IDE toolbar, Code Editor context pop-up menu, Code Editor toolbar, context pop-up menu of the Project Manager and Form Designer context pop-up menu.
• Athlant Manager can be docked now in windows of the Project Manager, Code Editor and Object Inspector.
• Support of the mode "one project - several storages" has been added. In other words you can process some files by one source control system and other ones by another. Such mode is useful if your projects consist of parts used in different parallel products.
• An ability to use SymLinks (Share) has been added.
• An ability to change active provider without IDE restart has been added. Now it is possible to switch easily among providers as you switch among projects in Delphi and C++ Builder.
• An ability to work directly with files, which are not included into the project through Athlant Manager has been added. Now it is possible to control any file together with project files in the same storage.
• Delphi 7 support and additional build-in source comparing tool have been added.

Some of these systems do not have tools for integration with Borland Delphi and Borland C++ Builder, therefore Athlant is the only instrument enabling to work with such systems directly from Borland environments.
