Question: Why is it better to work with InterBase/Firebird via FIBPlus than via BDE?

Answer:

  • You can set transaction parameters even in run-time.
  • You can work with multi-database transactions.
  • You can create "alive"-queries to several tables.
  • FIBPlus based applications do not requre BDE. It is easier to deploy.
  • You can yse InterBase SQL roles.
  • Many others advantages.
