Question: I purchased FIBPlus. Why do my applications compiled with FIBPlus still require registering the library?

Answer: Most likely you did not install the full FIBPlus version correctly. As described in Install.rtf, you should:

• Download full FIBPlus 6.x sources from the online Devrace Customer’s Center:

On processing of the FIBPlus order our system sent you a login and password to the personal customer’s page. In order to get a full FIBPlus version the customer should visit http://www.devrace.com/cgi-bin/user/user.pl and register his/her login and password. There will be a list of full FIBPlus versions there.
• To install FIBPlus 6.x you should download Basic FIBPlus sources (fibplus_6_x_basic_delphi.zip or fibplus_6_x_basic_bcb.zip), and also files FIBDatabase.pas, FIBDataset.pas, FIBQuery.pas and FIBSQLMonitor.pas.
• The files fibplus_6_x_basic_delphi.zip or fibplus_6_x_basic_bcb.zip include the file fibplus.inc, which is responsible for the nag screen activation/deactivation.
• You can also open fibplus.inc, comment the line {$DEFINE FIBPLUS_TRIAL}, and then recompile the application with FIBPlus components.
• Notice that this operation is possible only if you have full sources of the library.
