Q: Our company is looking to move to Perforce (P4) for Software Control. I have downloaded the evaluation and installed it and am having trouble configuring it. I assume I have to install some other component of perforce but cannot find anything in the help file. I currently have the Perforce Windows client installed on my PC and is working with a Perforce Server running on a Sun Server running SunOS 5.8.

A: I think you did not install P4 SCC plugin when you installed P4 Windows client software. I just have tried to install P4 and SCC plugin. After that Athlant has found Perforce SCM properly. We contacted with P4 QA, they are testing Athlant to confer Certified Status on Athlant. However, they told that Athlant is compatible with P4 well. I recommend you to try re-install P4 client and test installation with the help of our utility ProviderTest. You can find it on the Download page.

Our company is looking to move to Perforce (P4) for Software Control. About 50% of the Development I do is in Delphi. I am looking for a product which hooks into the Delphi IDE and works with the P4 System. I got very excited when I found your Product. >>
